Despite rumors to the contrary, a member of the Xbox group has denied that there are some plans to amend a Blu-ray intend for the 360. Few days ago, a Sony exec claimed that the consumer market giant and field Blu-ray proponent—was in talks with both Microsoft and Apple most Blu-ray, and Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer fresh discussed the utilization of Blu-ray drivers for Windows. But from what Greenberg is saying, it sounds same Xbox and Blu-ray aren’t likelyto tie forces anytime soon. Greenberg goes on to debate that the 360 already offers HD flick and TV downloads, plus an exciting list of games.

“People bought their Xbox 360s in holidays for Halo 3 and Bioshock and Mass Effect and Guitar Hero and Rock Band. They were not purchasing an Xbox to check 300,” Greenberg told Next-Gen. “And we don’t realize till now as to what will happen to Blu-ray. Is it the next DVD, or the next UMD? Your guess is as good as ours.”
