PSP-2000 Review

Here we have the new PSP-2000. Let us see what was modified since the last PSP model and see whether or not it is worth it or not. To get right into the facts, the first thing I noticed is how light this PSP actually is. It is a lot lighter when compared with the original PSP. It looks a lot shinier and slick and you get the feeling that it will slip out of your hands when you are playing. The good news is that this will not happen as it is actually very comfortable to hold and play.
We immediately noticed that the speakers have been moved from under the system’s face to it’s top. It is an interesting design move that makes the sound easier to hear. The D-Pad is a little bit higher when compared with the previous model. After you get used to this modification you will see that it is actually a little easier to play games. On the other hand the analog stick has exactly the same feel as the original and the headphone jack looks exactly the same, although in a slightly different location.Another modification visible is the moved wireless toggle. It is no longer on the side of the PSP but on the top. The Pro Duo memory card slot was also moved but the USB port remained in exactly the same place. We can also notice that (more…)
