“This laptop has everything I need. I have not had a problem with it at all. It was worth the cost and I recommend it to my friends. Although people have had difficulties with the Vista program so far it has not bothered me. There is plenty of memory which is good because my kids use the laptop as well. They like to save music and one son is writing a book and has it save here on this laptop. I wish I could afford to buy two more, one for each of my kids but that will have to wait. Thanks for a great product.”
“its good in aspects as performance and price,
i’m working on this , but we have to give any mataerials and advantages from thoshiba side .means and anty vires and, battarey and other extra accesories means it’s good”
“I know there a kinks with every new system, but I have been getting all sorts of error messages from day one with the operating system. I had an IT person look at it and he has helped to resolve some of the issues but I was told this is not normal and a problem with the operating system. I have only had this laptop a couple of months and will return it if this keeps up.
This is my first laptop purchase and I went with Toshiba because I trusted the name and I hope this does not happen with all of your products.”
“The laptop itself has been a good computer, but Vista is to overwhelming for the system and is not compatible with too many programs that I need to use. I purchased this laptop for work use and the program that I needed it for is not compatible with Vista and I was not able to downgrade without voiding my warranty. I am very disappointed with the fact that I am unable to use this product for the purpose for which it was purchased. I feel users should have the ability to downgrade if necessary. Vista also runs very slowly on this system unless you upgrade the memory which overwhelms the system making it very time consuming for the user.”
“This is the second laptop in the house and by far the best; it provides a lot of great features for me to take advantage of. The down side to owning this laptop is the battery. The battery life is nowhere as long as the other Toshiba I own.”
“I am a single mother of 2 children, work 40 hours a week and go to college. Time and money is precious to me and Toshiba helps me to accomplish everything. It is convienent to just pack up and take everywhere with me. I love Windows Vista, it is easy to navigate and I love the features. This computer was the best investment I have made so far. I would recommend this laptop to anyone and do.”
“I am enjoying my system. One of the things I miss having is internet explorer 6. I am unable to reply to e-mail that I receive from my office because this laptop only has internet explorer 7. In order for me to access my work from my office, I need explorer 6. That is the only inconveince. Everything else, I really like so far.”
“this laptop is great except the fact that vista is not compatible with quite a few other software . being there is no folppy drive with vista loaded it is not compatible with some flash drive that store information.”
“I found this product is very versatile, for internet connection. I was looking for a laptop to help me in my home business, and it has done that and more. I hadn’t used Windows Vista yet, and I like it more then I did XP.”

i have the same exact laptop although im only 16 i have discovered that the preinstalled version of windows vista home basic always has glitches.
toshiba indeed is a good brand but if you buy it with preinstalled vista you might have to reinstall a clean version this laptop also is able to run vista ultimate which i find cool. i have also been able to run windows xp and vista at the same time which solves the issues of non compatible program files or programs alone. this however i had a professional do im only good with files and programs and most of the hardware.
the harddrive that came with my machine was no good after 1 month of use so i had them replace it but other than that the A105-S2236 is a good system. vista is so hard for people because they haven’t learned to use it but i am an expert of vista so if you have any questions email me at xsystem219@yahoo.com have a great day
